I was looking at a drawing that my son made approximately 6 or so years ago.In it, there was a structure..labeled ‘SCHOOL”.Inside of this was a rudimentary figure portraying hinself.SDly, the figure had a very mRge CTOWJ,and TeRs ( a few) coming from eyes.Tellowwod Academy has done SO MANY pizzas li give things for my son….where do I start? 1.He looks forward to going to school now.2.He has not been bullied or abused,by any children or ZTAFF( Sadly, ery common in those who choose careers working with” vulnerable populations of al types( research based PDF ) source…
And may many more.will provide names upon request.His artistic and creative abilities..i.e. Music, and Art have been a tremendous source of accomplishment for him, and the academic structure must be great as well, as he received an A plus( not verified to me…but posible) and he greatly enjoys social studies,etc.He was also able to complete the UW ID tech camp last summer, with non spe trump kids…but says it’s too easy .My sincere appreciation to all of the hardworking staff and all benefactors of the school that has made a HUGE POSITI E ,EVEN SPIRITUAL CHANGE in my so s self confidence.Thankyou again, B.M.H.

To be honest, the rating here is way lower than I expected it to be. Yellow Wood is a great option compared to what I’ve seen, especially for older kids, and not very chaotic (at least, compared to what I’ve been through, and for the record i got strangled in a kindergarten bathroom once).

Understaffed and chaotic.The atmosphere in the day time is not at all like the intake evening events / open days. The staff reported they were dealing with emergencies and couldn’t cope every time I rang. There are much nicer and friendlier 2E schools on the Eastside thankfully!
