Big disappointment! There was no instruction provided, only a recipe printed off and given to the youth in our group. When guidance was requested staff were unreceptive and kneaded the pizza dough instead of guiding the kids through it. The ingredients were cheap (Ragu spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce, etc.) and the end product was completely tasteless. When asked, staff had no seasoning, parmesan or toppings to improve the pizza. The dessert was a store bought cupcake, smattering of frosting and a few sprinkles. Then we were overcharged and had to request a correction. Even then it was $250 for 9 people: not at all worth it.
My 11 year old daughter had fun with this, but she was disappointed too. They don’t actually let the kids near the stove or oven. It was mostly just chopping stuff up and musing things. She felt it was more for 5-7 yr olds. I found out about this place via Groupon. Through Groupon, I bought her 2 sessions but she didn’t want to go back. So, I’d say if your kid is like 5-9 years old, it’s perfect. But if they’re much older than that, and especially if you’ve taught them some stuff in the kitchen already… Then your child might not enjoy it as much.
