This has got to be the best nursery school in the area. I looked at so many before we settled on Zebedee and my only disappointment is that I didn’t find it sooner. My daughter absolutely loves it there and is really thriving. The staff are wonderfully caring and foster a beautiful culture of kindness and togetherness. All the children seem to be progressing really well and are growing in confidence each day. I have no doubt that our daughter will be well prepared when she starts school next year. Even though I’m sure she’ll want to go back to Zebedee!

My son attended Zebedee Nursery School in Parsons Green from 2019 to 2021 and we all the best experience ever. The early years of formation are crucial for both the child and the parents; it is a constant learning curve, often challenging for all. Miss Su and her team, with 40 years of experience in early years education, have supported us in so many different ways, making us feel part of an enlarged family. Having moved from Italy to London and with no direct family support, this has been extremely helpful and precious to me. My son, who is now in Year 1, still remembers with joy and deep affection his days at Zebedee’s and his teachers there. When he started Reception he could already read and write effortlessly for his age. At Zebedee, thanks for the stimulating topics and a deeply creative approach to education, he developed a genuine love and curiosity for learning, reading and sharing. The Christian values of the school, the relaxed atmosphere and Myrtle the dog, the focus on good manners and the respectful appreciation for each other, the excellent curriculum which includes a great focus on art, and the care in nurturing the personal needs of every single child make Zebedee the best choice I could have ever made for my son and our family in those precious years.

This is by far the best nursery school I have been to. I have now tried three nursery schools for my children and Zebedee far surpasses them all. My daughter, just turned 2, is holding a pen with proper grip, knows all of her colours, shapes, can speak French in full sentences and is learning her letters, with the aim of starting to read. With the other nursery schools, I found that they were more like organised childcare as opposed to really teaching my children, whereas at Zebedee there is a direct dialogue with the head and they are constantly innovating and tailoring the learning to your child. There is no other nursery I would send my children to. If I could go back and send my oldest there from day 1, I would have. Miss Su is a true expert – she teaches us about principles for parenting that go beyond the classroom and the community of mums is amazing. I cannot recommend highly enough this hidden treasure of a nursery.

All 3 of my children have been here. It is by a distance the best educational and socialising experience they have had, and all 3 are very different. Care and love for the children are at the heart of Miss Su’s (and her team’s!) approach. The day is structured, with activity, learning and a good element of order. Strongly recommended!

We have been so thrilled with everything about this nursery school. Based in the heart of Parsons Green, Zebedee is an engaging and stimulating environment and our 2 year old son has enjoyed learning colours, shapers, letters and is already learning to write his own name.

The teachers are attentive and kind, and fully supportive of our son’s development. He is given homework to do, with beautiful colourful books and tools lent to him from school which helps ensure it is fun and engaging.

In addition, we have found our son’s confidence has massively improved in a short time and he will happily approach and play with other children when he may have shied away before.

There is a real sense of community for the parents and families too. The nursery school encourages get togethers, coffee mornings, talks etc and it is wonderful to be a part of. Cannot recommend Zebedee more highly.
